THIS IS A SINGLE GHOST MOUNT USED TO MOUNT ACCESSORIES IN ALTERNATE MOUNTING LOCATIONS.
Accessory mounting options for boats are plentiful but NONE pack the holding power of the Ghost Mount in a small and classy system that is thoughtfully designed for easy installation on ANY style of boat.
Ghost Mounts are:
SMALL: The face of the Ghost Mount is smaller than a quarter – classy & clean.
FLUSH: The face of the Ghost Mount is flush to the floor so it can be mounted anywhere and not create an obstruction for stubbed toes, prevention of door swings, etc.
STRONG: The innovative design of the Ghost Mount fully utilizes the strength of the flooring surface to which it is installed in TWO ways. First, the “shoulder” of the Ghost Mount is fully encapsulated into the flooring surface which utilizes the wall strength. Next, the Ghost mount is secured from the backside utilizing a controlled compression system that locks at 3/4” utilizing the step in the shoulder of the mounting body, as to not crush the flooring surface. The Ghost Mount has been tested to over 1,000 pounds of straight pulling force in marine grade plywood flooring with minimal deflection.
SINGLE or MULTI-POINT FASTENING: Ghost mounts can be utilized as a single mounting point or as a multipoint mounting system. (Examples: Flagpole, Grill post, Removable Ladder Handle – single point. LilliPad Diving Board – three points.)
