This next year, resolve to introduce boating to one of your friends. We are sure that you have a friend or two who have never been boating and probably don’t have any interest in boating. But we are willing to bet that if you invite them on one of your outings, they just might like it. In fact, they might like it so much that they become boaters.

Buy A New Boat

What better way to ring in the new year by resolving to buy a new boat. Go ahead, you totally deserve one.

Do More Maintenance

It is way more fun to go out on a cruise as opposed to doing boat maintenance. But boat checks and maintenance are essential, so make sure you get it done this next year. Once you get your maintenance done, you can go have fun boating.

Learn New Skills

There are a lot of boating books out there you haven’t read, many of them can teach you new boating skills that might come in handy some day. There are also classes you can take to learn more about the sport and hobby you love so very much. Resolve to learn a few new boating skills this next year.

Try A Different Type of Boating

If you are really into sailboats, then you should try a motor boat. You might discover you really like it. And that’s not a bad thing.

Boat in the Place of Your Dreams

Resolve to pack up the family and boat and go to the place of your dreams to go boating. It will take some planning to be sure, but it will so be worth the effort. And we are betting the family will love it as well.
